Ailish graduated from The Scottish School of Contemporary Dance in 2014. She has worked with a wide range of choreographers and artists, including Malviniemi Company, Liz Roche Company, Lucia Kickham, Carima Neusser, Raimund Hoghe, Janne Aspvik, Carina Ahlskog and others. 

Her own work includes live performance and screendance that is influenced by sound, images, landscape and memory. Through improvisation Ailish explores the associations and abstractions that emerge from movement, the body and performance.

Ailish is a recipient of a one year artistic working grant from Svenska Kulturfonden (2024).
